Its official. I have purchased my first round of maternity clothes :). Its gotten to the point where all of my shirts and sweaters are too tight in the belly and dont cover up the rubberband thing I have going on my pants well enough! For work meetings I was really getting some good use out of my long winter coats, however they have been pretty hot and out of place with this beautiful weather we have been having. It was finally time to give in :) Ok, so I only bought 3 maternity shirts that are flowy in the midsection and are actually pretty cute! The other 2 were normal shirts that i just bought a size too big. I'm not ready to go in to maternity pants yet... but I sense that is quicly approaching. I can't say I'm not excited about it!
I have to admit I felt a bit insecure shopping in the maternity section. I told Oscar, "what if I'm not pregnant enough to be shopping in the maternity section?" As if it were some exclusive club or something. He said, "Mary.... YOUR PREGNANT! Thats enough!" So I guess I qualify. :)
I'm feeling better these days, no more nausea. I dont have to eat every 30 minutes, so I feel like I am back to eating like a normal person. WOO HOO! I have almost reached the 13 week mark, I must say that I get so excited with every week that passes! Its like a little victory! in the next few weeks I should be able to feel our little lima bean kick. I CANT WAIT!
