Crazy Day!

It has been quite a couple of days! Yesterday the power went out for a few hours. I guess it was due to the wind but honestly it wasn't that windy! Estella and I were in the dark with no flashlight. It was kind of creepy, so we went to Bill Millers for dinner and then bought candles. Wouldnt you know when we got back the power was back on. THANK GOODNESS!! So that was yesterday.

Today Estella and I were running a few errands. We registered and titled our car, got new Texas plates - We are officially Texans now, I guess. :) I had a couple of things to return to Wal-Mart, so off we went from one place to another. It was the weirdest thing! I was stopped at a stop sign in the Wal-Mart parking lot behind another driver. She accelerated past the stop sign and so it was my turn to stop at the stop sign. Well the driver that just passed the stop sign decided to throw her car in reverse and back right in to my stopped car. It was apparent she hadnt even glanced backward before reversing her car. I honked, but she kept going. I swear Texas is home to the worse drivers in the land. So now instead of just hanging out with Estella, going on walks and enjoying her company. I get to spend the next couple of days bringing my car to body shops, to get estimates, dealing with insurance agencies etc... Frustrating!!!

Estella and I are fine. In fact, Estella didnt even wake up from her nap! Here are a couple of pictures of Estella during our Mommy-Daugher at home vacation:

Estella is getting so good at sitting up, I decided to buy her a toy she can play with while she sits. She has a blast with her little penguin!

If you look very closely, you can see Estella's little teeth coming through. They are so cute!

Another tooth shot.

Mary, about once a year I see that GAP does this children's photo contest to be a GAP model and you win a big shopping spree. You need to watch for it and submit a picture of Estella. She is so beautiful!
