Hello From Texas and 27 weeks!

Long time, no blog, right?

I could make this a really long story, but I'll keep it short! I accepted a job in San Antonio and have been living in Texas since April 21st! Who would have ever in a BILLION years thought I would be in Texas? Oscar stayed in Bellevue to finish up school, so we have been separated for ohhhh..... 43 long days. Its been miserable! (the missing Oscar part) My job is great, and I even think we are going to LOVE San Antonio! So I havent had access to internet due to my lack of computer so I havent been updating my blog for a long time! OOPS. I am staying late at work to do this update because I'm so tired of being disconnected from the universe!! Oscar is coming to visit this weekend and will be here permanently by June 20th or so... however long it takes him to drive the Penske truck half way across the country :).

Estella is growing literally by the hour. My belly is BIG!!! I feel her moving all day long... when I go home at night, I lay down and just watch her go! She seriously does flips in there, my whole belly just contorts with her jabs and movements! Its incredible! My favorite part of the day!!! I am now 27 weeks pregnant, the last week of my second trimester...woohoo! I'm excited to be 2/3 done with my pregnancy! We are that much closer to seeing our little Morenita's face!

I had my first appt. with my new doctor a few weeks ago and she says everything is going well. She is concerned that Oscar and I were such big babies, so we will be having an ultrasound at 32 weeks so that she can better predict Estella's birthweight. She wants to avoid a c section at all costs so she would consider inducing labor if she was getting too big. I really liked my new doctor, Dr. Largoza and I have heard awesome things about the hospital at which I will be delivering.

Changes in me that i have noticed? I am so much more hungry the past few days, my metabolism has kicked in to overdrive or something! I get tired alot easier... my joints hurt after walking long distances...Sleeping is just not as comfortable. I'm not getting good sleep, i'm just going through the motions i feel like. And its just going to get worse. i am going to be 9 months pregnant in Texas in AUGUST. its already over 100 degrees here on a regular basis, what is AUGUST going to look like??? I'll just have to force myself into a lovely maternity swimming suit and get my pregnant behind to a pool.

All in all, no complaints from me! I have truly enjoyed being pregnant the past few months. I've been feeling healthy and so close to my little girl. I talk to her daily, she kicks back when i push on my belly... what an incredible thing pregnancy is!
