Bad news, I lost my job on Tuesday. I could give you the long explaination as to why, but dont feel like it. What it comes down to is $$$ and business as usual which at times can be insensitive and cruel. Its been a really hard couple of days, its always hard no matter who you are to lose a job, but its terrifying when you are 17 weeks pregnant and your growing baby bump is sure to give you away in an interview. Yes, there are laws that say you cannot discriminate against women who are pregnant but get real... nobody wants to hire a pregnant woman.
I have spent the past couple of days updating my resume and getting it out there. I am hopeful that something will come up. Today has been a turning point for me, it is my birthday and I have been working really hard at getting my resume anywhere and everywhere. I feel much more confident, enthusiastic and optimistic.
